Yes, this is an automated "appointment verification" call from Cambridgeshire NHS (Addenbrookes) to verify and offer you options on an appointment that you or someone in your family has booked. All automated, like voter registration - "Press 1", "Press 2", etc. System will ring you several times in attempts to get answered. Ringing back on 1 Nov 2013 got me an automated answer and then switched me to the verify options. Very clever system, really - set up NOT to work with answering machines (pointless). Not
