Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. This caller keeps calling me there getting irrating so i myself as blocked this number.
Tried the 'we need to check some transactions on your account' trick. Told him to 'go away'..... only thing is, the number appears to be a genuine one. Looks as though it may have been hijacked.

Fraud - tell you that HMRC have issued a warrant for your arrest and to press 1 then they leave the connection open at their end and charge you premium rates for the call. Please don't answer - people have lost up to £300 pressing 1 and then they continually try you on different numbers every day after this. This should have been stopped long ago by the authorities - it's a disgrace that it hasn't been.
