Fraud SPAM SCAM
Missed call I just got to the phone in time for it to stop ringing. Not a recognised number, not in my contacts list, not from anywhere that I know anyone. I therefore conclude someone was trying to scam me.

Call is coming from location in Russia. On answering it just goes dead.
This number seems to be from Dagastan in Russia. As I don't know anyone in Russia I would suggest it is a scam caller. Fortunately I got it as a missed call.

Wanting to know too much - scam
An autodialler call with a Foreign Ladies voice pretending to be from Amazon about a £600 charge on my Amazon account press 1 to dispute the charge. i dont have an Amazon account so i hung up and reported the call to Ofcom by sms 7726
No answer left on answerphone ! This is a fake spoofed number. Now blocked
This number called & was a recorded message saying that Amazon Prime membership was auto-renewing & money was about to be taken from my account. I don't have a Prime account.
Automated message stating internet was being used illegally and going to be cut off press 1 etc.
Scam attempt at identity theft and money transfers
Window seller. Asked for surname in order to remove from contact list. Suspicious.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
Telemarketing
I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Out of curiosity, I called the (Bristol) number back, but the person who answered said they hadn't used their phone this morning (and sounded nothing like the first caller). I'm not sure Caller ID is much use any m
