SCAM Pretending to be calling from carphone warehouse.asking what kind of iPhone I have.hanged up and blocked the number.
Man with SA accent called saying he was from HMRC and on another occasion that he was from CFS. Was looking to speak to a director regarding a financial matter and wouldn t reveal any more details. Said he spoke to a director the previous week (he hadn t) and said I must be annoyed with him because of problems we were having with HMRC (he said this on the occasion he said he was calling from CFS). He backed off and said he would call the director he spoke with directly.

Automated American voice stating a legal case had been raised against me by HMRC.
I received a text message from this number to say a payee request had been made on my HSBC account to Mr C Jones and to click a link if I didn’t request it. Obviously I didn’t as I don’t even have an HSBC account!
