SCAM - told me I was the victim of fraud and to press 1 now. I hung up.
Well well well, it seems Reading are trying new numbers out. Silent calls and cut off quickly. Don't answer as probably a scam.

thois number called me today 21/07/17. I think it is a Birmingham nuber. It was a silent call when I answered they just hung up.
This was another of those PPI claim companies. Calling me twice daily. Not aggressive, just persistent. Not as bad as some PPI claim callers I ve had.

dubious text supposedly form EE saying they cant generate my bill with a link to click, i haven't been with EE/Orange for 12 years, no chance am i clicking that!
Recorded message saying they were HMRC and if I didn't press 1 a warrant would be issued for my arrest!
