Auto-caller scam claiming to be BT, recorded message says that they have detected illegal activity on your phone line and will cut you off unless you press 1 to connect to an operator to discuss your case further. Obvious scam, have blocked the number.

21st January 2021 1235 Scam ? Purported to be from BT claiming there had been suspicious activity on my land line and internet and stating I would be disconnected. "Please press 1 to resolve the issue" Interestingly the caller display showed an 01275 number, not mine, but 1471 gave 02082851070
