I keep getting random calls from this number there's no reply from the other end then 3-5 seconds into the call they hang up... Any ideas? Is this some sort of scam? I'...

got a call off this number and then 02031908716, which is reliably linked to bullsh*t investment telemarketer, similar geographical area
started getting messages soon after texting with BT, on the hour, every hour, that made little sense nor related to my BT calls. Spoke to BT who confirmed the texts were not from them. Have turned the phone off for the night to see if that stops it.
