It is a website builder and SEO consultant based in South Manchester.
Said they were from micro soft security

Prerecorded message claiming to be HMRC. I hung up
Claimed to be from Openreach saying my IP address was now public blah blah blah. so i hung up!
Phone me but hung up after 2 rings. I suspect a con.

Foreign voice calling from a mobile number and claiming to be HMRC.
“hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die, can you whatsapp me on 07985152756” This is what I received from this number.
Scam Clearly. They state they are Eon. Then waste no time asking for personal information. I told the woman who spoke in broken English that she was a scammer and ended the call. She never called back. She will continue to look for gullible people. Sadly there are many of those. Her next victim may be a pensioner & easy prey
