Fraud says it is from HSBC about a bank account that i do not have.

SCAM Recorded message with claim that Amazon etc etc have charged bank card. Giveaway is that there is no security/identity check at all. Amateurish and incompetent.

Call center. bizarrely number showed as Waggon and Horses garage- curious I answered. Lady said she is called Nia/ Neeya? Wanted my name- not given. Said she was calling about by financial investments. Obvs a load of rubbish so hung up.

SCAM someone try a very convincing HMRC scam

Was cold called from this number today - I think it was a scammer - pretending to be a senior network technician from BT wanting to ask me about "error messages from my internet wifi connection". From the questions I was asked, I think it likely they were about to try to get me to give them remote access to my computer. I told them not to phone me again and out the phone down.

Phoned to tell me my washing machine warranty has expired and they're sending me the new paperwork by Royal Mail. Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. Unsurprisingly she hung up. Don't know what the scam was going to be but clearly there is one

SCAM just tried to get my partner to send cash to pay a bill over whats app, posing as a family member. DO NOT SEND THIS NUMBER ANY MONEY

SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. This is a very clever scam, do not fall for their scam, BT will never ask for access to your PC to 'prevent access to the WiFi' or for any other reason. SCAM The lady identified herself as Linda and spoke with an Indian accent, knew my postcode and said she was calling about my boiler cover, which is on a high tariff that can be lowered. I pointed out we have no cover, she tried the spiel asking how old it was. I told her it is only a few years old, paid for outright and under warranty. I told her I thought she was trying to scam me and we are TPS registered. She said sorry you would receive another call.
