This a scam number ......it is supposed to be from Barclays fraud centre......I got a text saying can I confirm a payment being asked for ....if not call this number .....I havant even got a Barclays account.
I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident

They called saying they were doning government survey etc , I told them I didn t want to know and also said we were registered with TPS. I eventually put phone down on them.

Wanting to know if I worked in industry.Told him I used to have my own business but am now retired. Felt this call would have led on to marketing or trying to sell me something.Very fishy!
