SCAM, keep calling me and asking to speak to someone else who i s registered my details for a Crypto Wallet. I think it is a scam and I have blocked the number.
Scam saying from virgin media. Internet not working right, want you to put codes on your computer.
Caller knew our name asked if he could send engineer to upgrade broadband by installing equipment - became suspicious when asked to confirm address and tel number - asked him why he didn t already have this info as he was ringing us. He then said we still had to confirm so I put the phone down - googled the number - and here we are.
The call is not from Porthmadog; the scammers spoof the numbers.

Immediate hang up on answering I assume it's a spoof or phasing call as we are on the telephone preference list and ex directory .

Someone saying they were from 'Motor Assist'. I said I didn't need assistance as I already had a car, they hung up!

Pretending to be BT Openreach. Said we had low internet speed in our area. Hung up as soon as he realised it was a business and the owners weren't available.

Caller claimed to be wanting to complete a survey on behalf of Devon and Cornwall fire and rescue in relation to pole tax expenditure. Could not give me details of how he got my mobile number that the council do not have! Therefore this appears to be a scam!
they took me for money to reclaim ppi.I have not heard a word since.
