Claim to be from HMRC and "beginning legal proceedings". Number is very similar to one with precisely the same kind of MO. I just let them talk and then hang up. HMRC would never communicate in this manner.

Say they are from my internet provider having found a fault they want to rectify. Told them to sod off and they gave me a load of verbal abuse.
Pretends to be from block chain. They say that your crypto account needs to be unlocked as it's been lying dormant for years. They tell you that there's about 50k in your block chain account and to get to your account you need to add £300.
