This is a private genuine home number (my parents). Some how today 25/1/17 they started getting calls always from UK mobile numbers 07xxxxxx saying that they had a missed call from their landline 01858466666. As soon as they put the phone down another call would come through again from another UK mobile number saying that had a missed call. This went on for an hour until they had to unplug the phone. They have reported it to BT who said they couldn t do anything unless they paid about ?80 for a blocking
Fraud They say they are HMRC and they are going to suspend your N.I. number.

On average I am getting three to four calls a day on my mobile, which I have now blocked, and two a day on my land line. It is bordering on harassment. Is there a legal process...

Man called stating that my washing machine insurance cover was coming to an end and wanted to renew it. I asked what company he represented He said his name was Louie and he was from AP UK. I stated that I have never heard of the company and he hung up.

The code is 0116 which is Leicester UK! However you're right in saying it will cost to call back as it might well be spoofed from abroad.
