Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I had a missed call from this number. I tried to call back but a msg speaks that this number is not in service.

Robotic sounding voice, probably recorded, saying Amy Johnson from sonethingsomething consultancy. Said I was not interested and hung up.

Ambulance chasers, female voice saying they had heard I was in an accident and that I was totally innocent....ggrrrrr!

My son answered the phone and passed it to me. A voice clearly stated who they were and that I was being recorded. I asked where they got my number from (as its a brand new line and I have not given it to anyone at all!)They said I was on there system as I was a customer of there s. I said I wasn t and they said I had bought an indosit washing machine. My washing machine is 8 years old and not and indosit!!! this is a total scam ... called me 50 times in the last week... woman with a scottish acsent asked for me by name ... stated as if it was a fact that id had a road traffic accident my reply was apparently so, her response was what date was it so i asked her what her computer told her because thats obviously right, to which she hung up ... honestly some people should not be aloud telephones, tried calling back 4 times just on hold then says "goodbye" and hangs up.... load of tripe
