Caller said she was from HMRC and that there was a lawsuit against my name and to call the number back immediately. I am presuming that it would have been connected to a premium rate line costing the caller hundreds of pounds. ignored call and reported it

I have had a rude person just call asking to speak to company director about personal Tax. Asked to confirm details, said I would wait for HMRC to send letter. Line is very bad and crackly to begin with. Spoken to HMRC on their gov.uk number checked all records, no calls made, they checked the number on their system and it doesn't exist.
