Said they were calling about my BT line. As I am with Virgin I knew straight away it was a scam so just put the phone on the sofa and carried on with my day hoping I had wasted their time enough not to bother me again.
Mark Omatushu is not my name and I have had this Land Line no. since November 2004. Automated machine, well spoken English female accent asking for above name hello,if you are MARK OMATUSHU at which point I hung up immediately. Usually I ignore un recognized nos. this time I incorrectly THOUGHT I recognized, so answered. I am sure other comments are correct, debt collectors and MARK whatever name gave my no. Keep calm and don t waste any time with these A...HOLES.... Michael......
Call claiming to be the National Lottery offering to send free lottery ticket. They ask for name, email, postcode & bank details. if you already have a National lottery account & pay by direct debit, top up lottery ticket purchase online, then they already have your details. WARNING!!!! If you have given the scammers any personal info like full name, postcode etc, they will call again and use that info to make you believe they are the national Lottery.
