My elderly unwell mother recived a call from this number and was told there is a discrepancy on her amazon account where someone is trying to order a iPhone the caller asked my mum to download an app onto her phone which she did but before she opened the app my dad took the phone off my mother and asked some questions then hung up. I called over and removed the app for her the app if activated would have given the caller remote access to mums phone.

SCAM Automated call “there has been a £600 charge on your account”, follow the instructions etc. THESE CROOKS PAY THE TORIES TO LET THEM OPERATE - PUNISH THEM AT EVERY ELECTION. SPAM - Unsolicited phone call. After saying "Hello" down the line a burst of computer noise/mumbled automated voice was heard before the call disconnected. Likely an automated call failing to register properly so most likely a scam call.
