They use multiple landline numbers, so if you block one, they dial on another. Although, it is a Manchester code, I suspect the call centre is abroad as when you do speak to someone, their English is not the best. The company has acquired some basic information about you (name & address) from a source. Annoying as they ring multiple times.

A man called alleging to be from Microsoft. He had a heavy accent and I said I couldn't understand him. He shouted the most dreadful abuse at me before saying that I understood him now. I am elderly and rather shaken. Can this sort of thing be stopped once and for all?
