A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.
Scammer
This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. I said I did and checked regularly. She asked when I last checked and what was the speed. I said I checked yesterday and the speed was was what I expected. The call was then ended abruptly from their end. Now blocked.

I haven t answered the call yet, but if I try calling the number back an automated voice tells me that I ve dialed an incorrect number... next time they call I will be brave and answer!!

SCAM Automated call that was left on the answer machine informing me of a Western Union money transfer of more than £700 and to press 1, 2 or 3 on the keypad to speak to an advisor. They spoke very fast so I had trouble keeping up with the message.
