Got a call from this unknown Luton number today 10/12/15 picked up call but caller refused to say a word and then dropped call.
Fake number so definitely scammer.

I used to work for the telegraph subs office at this number they only contact people whom have contacted them first through maybe fantasy football, competition entry brought anything for their shop could be up to 20 years ago anyone could have done this best way to avoid is ask to be taken off their database and they ll have to do it straight away or next time you go in for anything similar please read the small print as it will ask you to tick a box not to contacted they re perfectly within their right to
Fraud This number left an electronic message saying they were from the HMRC and that if i didn't call back then it would be taken as a second attempt to avoid a criminal offense and an arrest warrant would be issued... I know this is a hoax call but it concerns me that other may not...
Actually, Scambuster, the scammers merely spoof whatever number they want - they are never sold it.
Asian female rang and asked for me by name. When I asked who was calling she kept asking if I was the person she wanted. I said "if you tell me who is calling I will fetch her for you" and she hung up. One minute later I had another scam call from an Asian male on 001263078939 which I have also reported, as I suspect they are connected
