Siad she was not selling, had personal information, said she was from Watford but had American accent. When asked where she was hung the call!

claims to be from some HR company mumbled refused to say what it was they actually wanted. We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. Call centre noise in background.
SCAM - pre-recorded call to say that your national insurance number has been compromised. Given they called my work number, I doubt very much this is genuine. Kept repeating - press 1 to talk to an agent, press 1 to talk to an agent.
Potential scam - prerecorded message saying they are Mastercard/Visa and international money transfers are being made from account asking you to press 1 to cancel transaction- beware
Fraud calling from "blockchain" claiming i have 7000€
number was left on a note posted through door saying a delivery had been attempted when nothing was expected. on ringing -answer machine
Caller claims that your number has been passed to them regarding a car accident, so probably looking to claim compensation on your behalf.
