National Hearing Helpline or National Hearing Centre - doesn't matter what name, the context is the same - pure telemarketing. They just try, same story : "Have you ever worked in a noisy environment...?" In fact insurance business, and in fact telemarketing, unsolicited call in my case. Received a call this evening from 02032875165 - foreign accent, stating I had been selected by UK Government to receive a tax free grant of £8000. Apparently I was selected because I was a good bill payer and did not have a criminal record ! I was given a claim reference number and asked to call this number back within 25 minutes and speak to a manager who will release the money to me. I didn't bother calling back. What's the old phrase? If something's too good to be true it probably isn't !
