Silent call
This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.
Scam! Automated message: From Visa Mastercard, you have two unauthorized charges to your card this morning, the first is for £700, press 1 to cancel. Hung up & blocked the number.

SCAM RoboCall - claiming to be from HMRC Customs regarding an ongoing claim against me ... Press 1 to speak to an operator Pressed 1 and call was answered by distinct asian male voice with "HMRC how may I help you...?" I replied - "You phoned me, what can I do for you?" and they hung up!
