These people are cold callers who pretended I had previously contacted them to discuss investment opportunities and requested a call back - all of which is a LIE. Worryingly, they knew my name, so are obviously harvesting either hacked data or illegally traded personal information (I'm signed on to the telephone preference scheme and do NOT accept cold calls) Caller was a native English speaker who was pretty persistent with his false story and then hung up on me when he realised I couldn't be conned by it
