Claimed to be from an insurance company wanting to renew an annual policy with a discount . I didn't recognise the details of this policy and I became suspicious when they asked for my bank details . When I refused to give these the called became irritated and annoyed so I said that I was not giving out anything over the telephone . Received several more calls which I ignored . Eventually answered the phone to be told that he was the senior manager . Again I refused to give out bank details , which they s
Spoke very poor English, said she was from virgin media, wanted me to load a app on my phone. When I asked her why she hasn't asked me to confirm my password I have set on my account, surprise surprise she hung up. Sad sad scammers.

Silent call: No one there when I answered, but I waited to see if anyone would speak, and eventually an automated voice said ‘Goodbye’. I’ve had several scam calls from similar London numbers in the last few weeks. Annoying.
