Repeated calls regarding replacement windows and house fascia boards and a voucher scheme offering discounts for installation - completely unsolicited and very evasive when trying to establish how they obtained the house telephone number : "It s on the National database" was the only answer given

I received a call about 20 minutes before I posted this. I have placed it in the category of debt collection but perhaps debt management would be a better description. In the recorded call, I was advised that I should leave an email requesting that I should take my name off their database if I so required. I decided not to do this as clearly there is no way of me knowing whether this method of contact is trustworthy.
