Said it was from HMRC about a Tax Fraud case- 'press 1 for case officer...'. I didn't, just hung up. Obvious Scam.

Indian chap claiming to be from the Credit Investigation Department about debts I had. I said I didn t have any debts. He said bye & I laughed down the phone. Next time I ll order a curry.

Think it s a debt collecting agency! When I rang they answered Johnston or Johnstone accounts? It s also coming up that it had something to do with a newspaper? They left a message on my answer machine saying steph from Johnston publishing? So I m still none the wiser?
calls then no one says anything once i answer
Been getting calls from the above and similar numbers for a week now, answered the first couple and they tried to sell me an upgraded life policy, next one was tax returns, all from the same building! Have blocked 14 calls now all coming from the same place!

If this British GAS, why are they ringing from 01803 and not free phone number 0800. I trust no one. I put the phone down. I'm not with BG anyway or have Gas!
