Asked about my (fictitious) car accident. They cleared down on the call when I asked for details of their company.

I had the call from what sounds like the same Indian Lady this morning... Something about my router being faulty !!! I explained to her that it was 8am and I was trying to get out of the house, and that she had called an IT Consultancy, so her scam wasn t going to work here... She hung up... But then she called back, I asked my 8 year old to answer the phone as we were running late. He will always pick the phone up on speaker so I too can hear who is calling. Second call this morning from Amazon.Same recording but different number. International call from Scotland, just over an hours drive away. It is becoming harassment.

This is third time today they trying to get me to sign up for loft insulation grant? They DON'T TAKE THE HINT when you hang up and block the number. "DO NOT GET SUCKERD IN"
it is a automated service telling you someone is committing tax fraud against you or some rubbish and trying to get you to press 1 for XYZ more and more of these scams lately , clearly if it is a number you do not know and you are not expecting a call DO NOT ANSWER always check the number on directories and block. never press anything on automated calls. HMRC would never all you and will never all with an automated machine, they will write to you at your home address or via your government gateway only.
