Call from a lady 'the schools campaign you supported us with has now come to an end, and the books are now available....'. I interrupted and said 'I don't think we did support the campaign?' to which she immediately killed the call. this is a clearly a scam to get businesses to buy something they don't need on the premise they already contributed or gave assistance in the past. Fortunately mine is a one man business and I knew I had not supported anything like that.

Called about marriage tax allowance. Claimed to be calling from London Group. The person on the phone sounded really young.
This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. They also will get you to buy their software for $100 USD (not sure how that works out in UK pounds). If this has
