SCAM / SPAM Automated male voice tell me that the Inland Revenue have opened a fraud case in my name. If I don't click '1' now then I will be arrested. I hung up of course.

Silent call
Callcentre. Wanted to talk to me about my road traffic accident. Told her I have not had one, she hung up.
Said he was phoning about how we pay our energy bill. Asked for full name, address,DOB,to confirm my identity! I held back and did not supply details as I suspected the call could be a scam. He offered to send an email (knew my email address) and then phone back. I told him to call in an hour as I was busy. No email received and he has not called back. When I checked this number on 'who called me' it made me super-glad I didn't fall for it. This is the most sophisticated scam call I have received - BEWARE !!

We claim you gain has been ringing a business no. up to 4 times a day with a recorded message for ppi - several times I have pressed 1 so I could speak to someone who could take the company of their list. 3 times I have been assured this will happen. Today after 4 calls I did the same, asked them who they were - yet again "we claim you gain" - told the gentleman my problem yet again and he threw the phone down... How can we get this stopped... would appreciate all answers - the switchboard does not let me
