Tried to tell me they worked "along side" Legal and General which would make the unsuspecting think they work WITH or FOR Legal and General, which they don t as they admitted they were an independent finance company. As soon as I heard those words I promptly told the male caller to F**K OFF and put the phone down on him. Progress Housing (a Lancashire-based housing association) called. We told them that we own our own house and they hung up. May well be a genuine error (we live in their area), but could be a phishing scam.
