Caller asked for unknown person then asked to check number he had called which was a mobile number. I said it was nothing like that and caller apologised.
SCAM / SPAM
Call from a lady trying to get £249 out of me for an anti bullying campaign I had allegedly signed up to last year. She was very convincing and said I'd receive a thank you pack and what school would I like the bullying pack to be sent to. I told her I had no recollection of ever agreeing to sponsor such a thing. She gave me a web address of www.thepreventioncentre.org which shows they are legit...no such website exists, just websites that suggest this is a scam. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS!

SCAM- keeps calling me warning me of legal action for things i have not done. could be targetting me because of my brain injury and me being listed as a vulnerable person. they are being very unprofessional with phonecalls and are using a text to speech device instead of putting an actual human on the phone. they are clearly trying to get me to phone back and give them sensitive information regarding my finances. this number should be blocked by anyone that can do so

SCAM / SPAM "Dennis" rang my aunt (93) to offer her, for a one time charge, a new phone to stop nuisance calls. Very persuasive, and she eventually gave bank details for a transfer. But smelt a rat, and called the bank who blocked her account before any money could be taken out. Dennis subsequently rang back to say he had been "given the wrong bank card number". Again, quite persuasive, but my aunt wasn't going to be called twice.
