The automated caller claimed to be HMRC and that I was subject to a tax investigation. Seemed totally scammish, but I didn t press 1, as requested.

A well spoken lady called on 01476 571580 purporting to be from Margaret Rose Healthcare. She said she was ringing "everyone in my area" (in Berkshire) to ask if we were in good health and wanted "mobility aids". I said we would go via GP & NHS/private healthcare and asked if she was really ringing everyone in my area. She then changed that wording to say "We have you on our list, yes".
