Phishing call to get bank details. Claimed to be from government department and that unauthorizednmoney had been taken from my bank. If I could just "confirm" details then he couod act for me! I said thebline was bad and asked for his name, and phone number so I could ring him back. I coild not catch his name but I did write down the number (it had been withekd).

Rang twice yesterday, two hours apart. Both times nobody there when I answered, but a recorded voice saying "Goodbye" a couple of seconds later. Must be an automated call centre with nobody free to "take the call" when I answered. Definitely a nuisance call!!
This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with accidents / insurance marketing / working in a loud industry. Block it.
