SCAM Dangerous number - sets up accounts on dating websites (plenty of fish) and claimed to be someone called "Ben". Put a lot of effort leading my nan on over a few weeks. Even I was half convinced he was legit, very sweet messages etc, got to the point he was "putting a deposit on a house" which started the red flags. He was supposed to meet my nan, but miraculously got a job contract the night before visiting. Then lost his bank card on site and was very aggressive in

Fortunately, I missed this unknown number and had to call 1471 to find it. The caller did not bother to leave a message on my answering service. I am already on TPS (for what its worth) and I am pretty sure I do not have an existing business relationship with this number, Elsewhere on the interweb, there is a suggestion that this is a scam. So I challenge the caller to deny it on this site and leave his/her real world details.

Scam - fake DHL link sent via text message
said our company had signed up for their business directory - we hadn t - when I refused to answer questions or confirm details they said they would take it from our website anyway :/ not impressed - don t tell them anything!!!

Claims to be calling from Virgin Media, when challenged (I'm on TPS, I'm not in a Virgin cable area, etc) they hang up. Same outfit call three or four times a day, always from a different spoofed number.
