Claiming I had had a motoring accident. They gave no further details. Also call made to mobile and not my land line. These people should be held to account and punished.
These guys often call me. Pretending to be from Microsoft or Talk Talk to help me with a problem on my computer. Not being in work at the moment I have a personal target for how long I can string them along. Longest is 44 minutes before they give up but usually 20 minutes or so. If all of us just string them along (don t go near your computer, just pretend) then they ll possibly abandon their scam calls (at least they re not bothering some less capable person whilst we do this).
This person with an Indian / Pakistani accent called before 8PM saying he’s was from BT and that my internet was compromised and that he should load a firewall ..... I hung up

They called me while I was on a lecture and I could not take the call. After the lecture, I called them and was put on hold for ten minutes and their automated system promised to call me back. After ten minutes, the system said "Goodbye". I called again wasting money on my mobile phone but at the same time curious to know who they are in case it s a job opportunity, again after ten minutes, it was a "Goodbye" I called the third time and it was the same. I think this practice of deceiving someone
