Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). SCAM / SPAM they called me and I heard an automated message saying it's from the tax service of hmrc and there is a problem with my tax code. It says press one to connect to a representative. When I asked how do I know this is HMRC calling me she hung up...
It was some buffoon pretending to be Carphone Warehouse.

TAXES / HMRC Your national number has been suspended do to illegal activities! What a load of rubbish! HMRC would always write you a letter.
01779 2977657 calls but does not leave any message. As previous people, I dont answer. But the calling is during work time and is annoying.
