Called today by 01147002634 saying it wa someone from HMRC and if didn’t return the call or have my solicitor call they would take legal action! It’s time that these scam calls were ended! Best to contact the Police or?
This number text me purporting to be 02. They said they had trouble taking my payment. It would appear to be a hoax.

Supposedly from Microsoft. There was a problem with my hardware/software. They wanted me to turn on my computer and talk them through what was on the screen. Obviously a scam, not sure if it was for money or data, but I continued talking to them without giving any details until I had found my school whistle and then blew it down the phone (loudly) at them. I work in a large infants school, I have a good pair of lungs :-)
