Knew my name. They paused before speaking, then just hung up (think they detected I knew what was coming and that I wasn t a vulnerable person)!

Told me they were updating their records so I would stop getting called! Asked them who they were, told me they were calling so that they could stop calling in the future. Answered their questions, then they tried to put on a representative to sell me something, I declined to speak to this person, they hung up on me.

SPAM SCAM Accident SPAM COLD CALL A man called claiming to be working for "MA" (Motor Assist) regarding a car accident I'd had that had already been resolved by my insurance company. I asked where my data came from he said "UKRI" (United Kingdom Insurance Limited) about whom he gave a lengthy description. I advised him that I wished for all of the data he held about me to be erased as per GDPR and DPA's right to erasure, he seemed surprised an I told him this was because it was all false
