Called pretending to be from BT broadband about an awful virus on my computer about to bring the whole BT network to a grinding halt. Wanted me to give him remote access to computer and hub. BT don t want to know, only thing to do really is to block the number to save any kids or elderly relatives being duped.

Fraud microsoft scam
Safe number It’s PayPal. Received security code number text message from this number after I’d been temporarily locked out of my account. It works same way as PayPal’s usual 62226 number that also sends you a text code to verify payments.
SCAM - The "I am calling from Microsoft" kind. They get you to display your event viewer then download AnyDesk so tay can access your PC.
