SCAM / SPAM Automated male voice claiming to be from HMRC and telling me I'm being arrested 'immediately' if I don't press 1. I didn't press 1 because I have a meeting this afternoon and I needed a good excuse not to go. Alas, I can't hear any sirens and I'm fairly certain I'm still going to have to go to work this afternoon.
Urgent and authoritative-sounding, well-spoken male, a recorded voice message from 'national fraud squad/office (?)' threatening suspension of my National Insurance owing to an investigation revealing blah blah blah blah blah...(??) Have had similar-sounding calls with the same voice in the past, threatening cancellation/suspension of one thing or another (even imprisonment on one occasion), and to stay on the line to avoid immediate cancellation/suspension of said service. Hung up.
This number calls me repeatedly at all times of the day and evening. If you pick up it is a recorded message, so now I don t pick up, but it is harassment, as sometimes I have run from the garden, only to find it is a nuisance call.
Called early evening about a supposed accident that I d recently had. Of course I hadn t had such an accident so the call was bogus. I have Preference Service so the call was also illegal.

Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.
Automated call, telling me I have committed a criminal offence in tax evasion & fraud. Scam allover it.
