SPAM - same cheeky blighters who have been calling from various "spoofed" numbers, in the guise of some officially-endorsed scheme. It's spam at best, and very likely a scam. Be aware that new government grants for energy saving improvements only came into force last week, and already, a lot of cowboys are seeking to exploit this. Eligibility for the grants is quite limited, so don't believe anyone who claims you're automatically entitled, or even worse, that you HAVE to have it done.
Claimed to be from my bank saying we had possible fraud activity on our acct. Someone had tried to set up direct debits for aviva and netflix and other activity. Two males with scottish accents, possibly same man!
Call answered by elderly recipient who was confused by the call. No speach made.
Missed call
Must have been taken back off the SPAM Callers Blacklist, as just had a call from 02038960132, on the Landline. Apparently, a recent survey has revealed that the insulation in our loft is illegal, and if we do not replace it, we will be fined by the Government. When asked how thesurvey was completed. Did they undertake breaking & entering, x-ray specs, or were beamed in by Scotty, he replied with 'Oh F*&$ Off you C*&$, I hope get cancer and die'!

As with most other comments, I received a call which wasn t even long enough for me to pick it up so I haven t spoken to a person/heard a recorded message/had voicemail- given the premium rate number I obviously haven t returned the call and flagged it hear as I suspect it sounds like it s probably a cost trap worst case (or aggressive marketing best case).
Spam. Just keep ringing.
Rang but when I answered with the name of our business the caller hung up. When I tried to return the call using the recall button I got a message saying the number had not been recognised.
SCAM. Said they from BT and that my broadband was not working. I know it was as I was online and told them, also mentioned that I thought the call was some sort of scam. Got told that my mindset needed sorting. Redialled the number and it’s not in service.
Silent call
Foreign person saying from telephone preference service that she needed to update my details to stop unwanted calls but she asked for card details and this is a free service so I hung up.

Why do I keep getting these calls? What do they hope to achieve?
Rang a company number insisting that I had been in an accident. I replied which department do they want. He went over this same notes he had been reading off. Indian accent. I kept asking him which department he wanted. He finally swore and put the phone down.
had a call from this number today stating that it was virgin media and that my modem had been hacked, they wanted to change my passwords, hmm luckily im not stupid
