Fraud - "This is HM Revenue and Customs, press 1 or we'll issue a warrant for your address". What's weird is that I did press 1 to see who I got, and I got someone who didn't know why I was calling. Asked my what my query to HMRC was about.
Fraud This number called claiming to be from Barclays Business banking team. They are definitely NOT from Barclays. Do NOT give them any information. I suggest cutting them off and doing what you can to block the number.

Call from this number at 12.31 today (5/10) asking for me by my full name and caller claimed to be Michael from; - ?something or other (couldn t make out what he was saying) Investigations addressing me by my full name and wanted my future pension plan details. I politely declined after explaining I was in fact with the Government and had no need for further pension advice . He then accused me of lying to him! Customer whose number this is has raised issue with service provider as they are receiving calls from random people stating they had a phone call from their number, this is not the case they get multiple calls per hr
I was called at 12:55 in London from this Manchester number but didnt answer as presumed it was an ambulance chaser or my Mac has a virus?! No message left so doubt if the call is important & as I suspect a scammer.
I received a silent call and checked the number using 1471 which gave me 01729 568147 but when I tried to ring back I got a message stating it had not been recognised!

SCAM Said they were 'Carphone Warehouse' and wanted to offer me a new phone as the same price as the one I had now. Didn't know the make of phone I had or how much I pay for my contract. When I said I didn't want a new phone they hung up.
