This number called me using my previous surname and when I told them I wasnt known by that name anymore they hung up. Who are they.

These guys call saying they are from EE and offering special deals. Then they asked for my personal information. When I questioned why they needed my data they stated that the number they called on (which appeared on my handset) if listed on the EE website under the security section. I hung up and checked. No such number on EE s website, so I call a contact I have at EE and she checked and stated the number is most definitely NOT EE and I should not treat the call as an EE authorised call. Well I missed a call. When I rang back it put me in a queue and told me my call was important and I would be dealt with by one of there agents. It was a very odd American record...

They called today at approx. 18.14. They wait until you say hello, then after a few seconds, they hang-up. When you ring back they say that they are a company blocking nuisance calls, but, I guess if they were, they wouldn t be doing it themselves and they would probably try and sell you something, not just hang-up

Tried to ring it back to see who it was but get the discontinued tone. Don't understand why!!
