SCAM Tel No. 07824378626 used to identify a hoax call from Amazon about a £300 odd payment. Similar calls received from other 07... numbers in recent weeks. These calls always follow on from use of Amazon for on-line purchases. This suggests that account activities with Amazon are not properly secure and that scammers monitor recent activity.

who is this and where did they get my number from?? i did get someone at the other end earlier today , they mumbled something, called me by a name then the line went dead. I can only assume that whoever was on the other end was a complete arsehole and i would not want to speak to him again anyway. time the authoroties got a grip with these cold callers and put a stop to it. telephone preference registration is a complete waste of time!!!

I’m not sure of this number! Mixed comments on line. Scammers can easily leave fake positive comments on here! Best thing to do is go to your Capital One app and log in. Then go to ‘my card’ go to ‘lost or stolen’ then put a temporary lock on your card. At least it’s secure. If you ever get a call from fraud department, don’t speak to them or call them back. Just tell them you will contact them directly. Don’t use the number they give you. Always use your banking apps to contact a bank directly.
