Safe number call from pompom on the back of an enquiry i made about IVA
Called today. Recorded voice claiming to be from my broadband provider and they will be terminating my service due to suspicious traffic. Unable to disconnect the call till I had pressed the disconnect button several times and even after the voice stopped an obvious line was still open even though I could dial. If they call you ensure you have cleared the call before calling your Internet provider or use a different phone so they don't record your details.

I missed a call from this number, called back and had an Indian woman tell me this number does not exist. Strange. If it was UPS, I was expecting a call from this.

Accident. They said I was involved in a minor accident. So Sounded like he was from India. Cold calling. I asked if he new who I was. And i said that, if I was involved in an accident you would have my details on record. He said this is not a verification call. I said you rang me! so you should address me using my full name! He then gave me my nickname. And then i new it was a scam. Probably got my details from some website, as I never use my full or real name.
