Yes - it s the scammers new favourite angle .
Further to a number of silent calls, I finally got a callcentre operator. She wanted to sell photoelectric cells for electricity generation either on the roof or via A frames erected in the garden - no garden too small and who cares what the neighbours may think! I m ex-directory and TPS listed but that didn t stop them. They declined to give me the name of their database provider so I advised they will be reported to TPS and Ofcom for, if nothing else, harrasment (all those silent calls).
Pretecorded message, says they’re from hmrc and that’s they’re calling for unpaid taxes.
I'm in N.Ireland and this number is a pain in the arse, told them sorry I died...
