I was sitting at my desk right next to my phone, and I picked my phone up on the first ring. There was a pause and then the caller was surprised that someone answered. She asked for a name. She then pretended that she had dialled the wrong number. It is quite clear to me that this company is operating a scam. They probably have an automated system for dialling numbers from a list. Most people are not in, or do not get to the phone quickly enough. They call the number back, not realising that they hav
Fraud - Called me saying they were calling on behalf of my mobile provider - when I asked them why they were calling on an 07 number they said they had been contracted in. After that, I asked who my mobile provider was they said EE. Unfortunately, I am not with EE; and when I told them this I have never heard a man go quieter. They hung up on me after this.

This makes the call they make to you appear local rather than coming from their main location. When you dial the number, the call is auto-routed to their office. This is yet another of their bizarre and underhanded practices of harassment as they aggressively attempt to destroy the sanctity of people s homes in their endeavour to extr
Unable to answer the original call a voice message was left to call this number back. The voice message did not state the company involved but required an anti-fraud check. This was a 'genuine' number, but the questions were probing and having given my contact number after questions to verify myself I was asked for the last 4 digits of that contact number already given, there were too many disconnected questions that could be joined up for other fraud. I terminated the call. Supposedly Barclaycard.
