Unless you re on a tariff which costs you to retrieve voicemails, why not? It might just be a friend or business associate calling to advise you of their new number.

This number called claiming to be from EE. They managed to get my card number and expiry date, by offering me a new deal on a phone. I have now had to cancel my card. This is a scam!
