I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Filled in a form on line for number of nuisance calls I received they replied said they would ring and number would begin 02921 so I new I could answer it. They advised me I was on numerous cold call lists I new this ad I get dozens of calls per day. Asked foir a fee of ?49.99 to remove me from all of these lists. I do hope I have not been conned ad I m a pensioner and cannot afford to be loosing this sort of money.
Sorry you re all getting harrassed by that. We recently got harrassed too by multiple numbers, be it America, Germany etc. These are the very famous people from India with their "Microsoft Technical Support". Don t answer calls that are from outside the UK or wherever you live in and dont even answer numbers that are too short to even be valid.
